Thursday at the Eau Claire

Not real excited about this sketch. I am just trying to practice and get better at quick sketches of people. Obviously I'm not going for realistic, but trying to capture a memory.  It's working, but I'm never quite happy with it. There's a perfectionist deep inside of me that needs to leave! HA! Any advice?

So I tried my hand at sketching in a bar.

I've always wanted to, but shyness gets the best of me.

I thought I'd try something easy for the first time anyway.

So yea...I broke the ice! Next time...people sitting at the bar? We shall see.
