A corner of our apartment

Today I decided to start right in with watercolors...not sketching or planning ahead with pencil. Not my favorite way of doing things, but I know that this is a good way to practice. When I was half way done with the sketch I wanted to rip it right out of the book. It looked so terrible! I'm still not saying I'm very happy with this sketch, but I know it's part of practicing. According to my husband I'm way too hard on myself. I know it's true! OH well, it turned out ok after I took a pen to it and sharpened up some edges.
